Making a difference
Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference. - Kathy Calvin
We received a donation from Marina Sea Salt in the Eastern Cape and recently helped five other institutions with funding. They are:
Sinethemba Special Skills Centre, Ngqeleni EC - R15 000
This Centre has been raising and schooling mentally challenged and physically challenged children since 2003.
Khaya Labantwana Pre-school, Gqeberha - R10 000
Kayalabantwana Crèche is an organisation involved in early childhood development and care, established in January 1998.
Africa Task Force, Gqeberha - R10 000
Africa Task Force Outreach (ATAF) helps disadvantaged children and abused women within African Communities in areas of poverty, trafficking, and natural disasters. They equip the youth to work as volunteers.
Khulasande Sports Rural Development, Gqeberha - R10 000
Khulasande’s Wonder Kids Programme supports exceptionally talented track and field athletes from previously disadvantaged communities to help them achieve national and international levels.
Douloi-Izicaka Cooperative, Mthatha - R30 000
Their main objectives include farming, early childhood development, and training for historically disadvantaged persons.
We sincerely thank Marina Sea Salt (Pty) for their donation of R100 000.
We assure that the money will be spent with discipline and where we believe it will make a difference.
