Genadeland Seedproject Victoria West
Genadeland approached the Hope and Reconciliation Trust in June 2020 for a financial contribution on which we donated R5 000 in July 2020.
They are well established and the first GF4GF Center (Palms) opened its doors in 2011 but was already part of the original vision that Amos Agrimin started in 1994.
Genadeland's goal is to change the long-term future of the poorest communities of the Central Karoo for the better. It is their mission to help students find their identity in Christ, take responsibility for their lives, and be empowered through a wide range of skills.
Agriculture: In addition to the lucerne already established in the centre, they plan to start a vegetable garden, chicken farm, dairy goats and perhaps crops that are successfully grown in the Karoo. The centre is too small for sheep farming, but students get the opportunity to work for local farmers for extra income over weekends and then also gain experience about agriculture.
